Carden Conservatory is proud of its uniform policy. We believe that a student’s appearance has a direct impact on his or her attitude, behavior, and academic performance at school. Uniforms foster school pride and are praised as a convenience by our parents. Uniforms also instill a sense of modesty and decorum and help students to realize that there is an appropriate dress for the proper time and place. Uniforms also serve to reduce distractions from the real purpose of school, which is to learn, not make fashion comparisons. This uniform policy is designed to free children to appreciate the deeper qualities of their classmates. Because children’s attention is not as focused on superficial, surface differences, there is greater acceptance among peers and discourages “cliquish” behavior.
Monday and certain assembly days are our Official Carden Uniform Days. On all other days our optional uniforms may be worn. Students are required to wear their Carden Conservatory maroon shirts on Fridays and field trip days. Friday shirts and maroon and grey hooded sweatshirts, and navy blue and grey crewneck sweatshirts are available for purchase through the school. Sandals and backless shoes are not permitted. Children in grades 5th-8th are required to dress out for P.E., with uniforms available for purchase through the school.

SCIENCE LAB FEE – Grades 5 – 8 fee included in enrollment
LATE PAYMENT FEE – A late fee of $25.00 will be charged if payment is made after the 5th of the month.
RETURNED CHECK FEE – A fee of $15.00 will be charged for each returned check. In the event of a second returned check, all future payments must be made by credit card, cash, money order, or cashiers check.
TUITION PAYMENT OPTIONS – You may choose the Annual Plan, Semi-Annual Plan or Ten Month Plan for Elementary and Jr. High students. Preschool is a monthly payment program with two weeks prorated vacation a year.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE – Financial Assistance is available to families who might otherwise not be able to afford the tuition and fees. It is our sincere belief that the benefits of an educational experience at Carden Conservatory are too valuable to restrict access for purely financial reasons.
